SIEF offers business development programs to support First Nations entrepreneurs developing businesses in Saskatchewan.
SIEF’s Business Development Officers can provide more information about these programs:
- The SIEF Contribution Program is a needs-based, conditional grant program for eligible clients who are located in Saskatchewan and a registered Status Indian, a majority-owned First Nations business/financial organization, or a development corporation.
- The Indigenous Women Entrepreneur (IWE) Program provides support to First Nation women overcome the unique barriers they face by providing tools, resources and supports to access financing, build your credit, and obtaining leverage from other financial supports.
The Business Development Officers at SIEF are available to First Nation individuals, First Nation communities, Tribal Councils, or other First Nation organizations that are interested in business advice and information.
SIEF’s office is located in Saskatoon on the Asimakaniseekan Askiy Reserve, but our Business Development Officers are available to visit your organization or community to present information and answer questions. Please contact SIEF’s office to arrange a visit.
