Welcome to SIEF
The Saskatchewan Indian Equity Foundation Inc. (SIEF) was one of the first Aboriginal financial institutions in Canada to offer developmental lending to First Nation businesses in Saskatchewan.
SIEF is member driven by the 74 First Nations of Saskatchewan and affiliated with the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN). We have also partnered with the TD Bank to create the First Nations Bank of Canada (FNBC).
SIEF offers commercial and agriculture lending as well as business consulting services. Our office is located in Saskatoon, on the Asimakaniseekan Askiy Reserve. We provide business lending solutions, business consulting services and administer lending programs and services, such as the SIEF Equity Contribution Program.
SIEF is committed to developing a strong economic base among First Nations in Saskatchewan. Our goal at SIEF is to continue to assist in the creation of jobs and to foster economic growth for First Nations people, because a strong Aboriginal business community means financial independence for all First Nations people.
SIEF is available upon request to visit your organization or community in order to present and answer questions. Please contact us to schedule meeting dates.
Our services have been developed to effectively enhance the entrepreneur’s ability to succeed. We are available to First Nation individuals, First Nation communities, Tribal Councils, or other First Nation organizations that are interested in business advice and information.
Please contact our office by phone, email or visit to connect with us.
